Pasta with Broccoli and Chicken
What You Need to Buy for Cooking1. Chicken breast, one, about 500 grams
2. One onion, small
3. Garlic, two heads
4. Cherry tomatoes, 400 grams
5. A pack of broccoli, you'll only need the florets, about two bowls' worth, as shown in the photo
6. Three tablespoons of tomato paste, diluted in half a cup of water
7. Pasta, 300-400 grams
8. Fresh basil, half a cup, cut into strips
9. Olive oil, 3 tablespoons
10. Half a teaspoon of dried oregano, half a teaspoon of salt and black pepper

Cutting1. Cut the chicken breast into small slices (so they cook through without drying out), about one by two centimeters
2. Finely chop the onion and garlic, cut the cherry tomatoes in half
3. If the broccoli is still on stalks, keep only the florets and discard the stalks

Cooking1. Heat a large skillet, pour in three tablespoons of olive oil, add the chicken first and fry for 3 minutes, stirring so it browns
2. Add the onion and garlic and fry for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. The onion will turn translucent and the garlic golden
3. Add the chopped tomatoes, broccoli, salt, pepper, oregano and basil, pour in the tomato paste diluted in water, mix everything well, and bring to a boil. Now cover with a lid, lower the heat, and let it simmer for about two minutes
4. Fill a large pot with about 2.5 liters of water, add three teaspoons of salt, put it on the heat and bring to a boil
5. Add 300-400 grams of pasta and cook for 6 or 7 minutes. To check: if the pasta is done, there won't be any raw dough left inside
6. Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse with water
7. Transfer the drained pasta into the skillet and mix everything together, enjoy your meal! Perfect with a glass of white wine
