What to Buy1. Beef - 500 grams
2. Large Carrot - 1
3. Medium Kohlrabi - 1
4. Garlic - 4 cloves
5. Bell Pepper - 1
6. 2 Medium Tomatoes or 3 Small ones
7. Half a Hot Pepper, but it's optional
8. Medium Potato - 1
9. Pasta - Spaghetti - 500 grams
10. Onion - 1
11. Salt, Pepper, Vegetable Oil
How to Make It1. Cut the meat into strips, about 0.5 cm wide and 3 cm long, as in the picture
2. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips — of course wash it first, cut off the top and remove the seeds. Also peel the carrot and kohlrabi, then cut them into thin strips
3. Finely chop the garlic; I add half a finely chopped hot pepper, but that's to taste. Grate the peeled potato
4. Peel the tomatoes — to do this, score them and dip them in hot water, then cold water, and they'll peel almost by themselves, then grate them
5. Cut the onion into quarters lengthwise, then crosswise into slices; also put water on to boil
6. In a large frying pan, pour in three spoons of oil and heat it, then add the onion and fry, stirring, for about 30 seconds; add the meat to the onion and, stirring, wait until all the liquid evaporates — the onion will brown a little and the meat too; don't leave it, keep watching!
7. Add the garlic, hot pepper, kohlrabi, and carrot to the meat and onion, mix a little, and simmer for about two minutes
8. Add the bell pepper and simmer for another minute, mixing everything
9. Pour in boiled water, just enough to barely cover everything, and bring to a boil over high heat, then add the grated potato
10 . Now add the grated tomatoes and mix everything, let it simmer, about five minutes I think, until it becomes a thick soup — it's all ready, or almost
11. Cook the pasta: in a large pot pour plenty of water, about 2 liters, and when it boils, add the pasta, 5 or 6 minutes and it's done; you can check that there's no dry spot inside the pasta to know it's ready
Now put the pasta in a deep bowl, as much as you'll eat, and ladle the sauce over the top; a little greenery on top too, for those who like it
