What to Buy1. Beets - 7 pieces, uniform in size and small
2. Feta - 150 grams, high fat content
3. Walnuts - 1/4 cup
4. Herbs (Parsley or Cilantro) - 4 sprigs, but it's optional
5. Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
6. Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
7. Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
8. Balsamic vinegar - 1/2 teaspoon. For example the Italian brand "Modena"
9. Foil and Baking paper
How to Make It1. Turn on the oven and heat it to 180-190 degrees, this isn't the maximum, but about 2/3 power
2. Wash the beets well; if there are leaves, cut them off carefully so as not to damage the skin, as in the photo, then dry them and wrap in foil, place on a baking sheet lined first with baking paper — less to wash if it leaks
3. Leave in the oven for about 1.5 hours; once the time has passed, take them out and don't leave them in the oven, and once cooled, peel off the outer skin
4. Cut into cubes of about 1/2 centimeter
5. Cut the feta into cubes too, also 1/2 centimeter
6. Chop the walnuts with a knife, not too fine but not too coarse either
7. Mix the cut beets with a tablespoon of olive oil, and only then add the feta, walnuts, and season with salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar
8. Sprinkle herbs on top
Serve without mixing, it'll look beautiful, but you can mix it too. Enjoy your meal!!!
