What to Buy1. Bananas - 3 ripe, overripe is even better
2. Butter - 75 grams
3. Sugar - 125 grams
4. Flour - 300 grams
5. Egg - 1 large
6. Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
7. Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
8. Vanilla Extract - 1 teaspoon
9. Baking Pan - 1-2 - 21x12x5 or thereabouts
How to Make It1. Turn the oven on to 175 degrees, first taking out the baking sheet
2. Peel the bananas and break them into pieces in a bowl, a large one is best - everything will be mixed in it
3. Cut the butter into pieces in a bowl and microwave for 20 seconds, then stir with a spoon so the butter melts evenly with no chunks left; if it hasn't melted after 20 seconds or after stirring, microwave for another 10 seconds. The key is not to overheat it, or the butter will "spit" in the microwave
4. Once the butter is ready, move on to the bananas - it's best to mash them with a potato masher until smooth
5. Add the butter and mix well, a large spoon works best, mix the butter and bananas until smooth
6. Now add the egg, a teaspoon of baking powder, the sugar and the flour, stirring the mixture until smooth, keep mixing until there are no lumps of flour left
7. Dust the baking pan with flour and pour in the finished batter, it should sit about a centimeter below the rim; if one pan isn't enough, split it evenly between two pans
8. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and place the pan with the batter on it, leave it for 50 minutes
9. Once the time is up, carefully take out the finished bread and let it cool
You can eat it with butter! Or just as it is!!!
