What to Buy1. Elderflower Syrup - 15 ml, the brand Monin, or you can find it at IKEA
2. White Sparkling Wine - 150 ml, any semi-dry sparkling wine works
3. Sparkling Water - 100 ml, any water with bubbles, just not mineral water
4. Mint Leaves - 4-5 fresh
5. Lime or Strawberry - a wedge of lime or half a strawberry
How to Make It1. Put half a glass of ice into a tall glass or a large wine glass, wait a couple of minutes, then empty out the ice — the glass will become cold
2. Add the mint leaves and lightly crush or rub them with your hands
3. Add 10 ml of the syrup, then 75 ml of sparkling wine, and 50 ml of chilled sparkling water
4. Add 3-4 ice cubes and it's almost ready!
5. You can add half a strawberry or a wedge of lime
Hugo tastes different from an Aperol Spritz, but it's just as refreshing and enjoyable!
